If You Can Not Attend CalSO

While it is critical for all new students to attend CalSO, we recognize that a few of you are unable to do so. Students who do not participate in orientation enroll in classes after those who attended CalSO. New students who did not attend will be able to log on at http://calso.berkeley.edu to obtain their Adviser Code (AC), Tele-BEARS (Cal's web-based enrollment system) appointment time, and enrollment instructions after the CalSO programs have concluded.

The College of Letters & Science's L&S Mini-Orientation workshop will be held on Monday, August 24. If you are unsure of what your course priorities might be for the College or how and when to declare a major, this workshop will help you make a smoother transition to Cal.

Freshman Overview 10-11 a.m. - Campbell 344
Transfer Overview 11-12 - Campbell 344

These Mini O's will include plenty of time for Q&A.

If you would like more than just academic information about Cal, Getting Your Bearings (GYB) - New Student Services' program for those who missed CalSO - will be held the next day, Tuesday 8/25, from 7:30 - 3:30. Please register for this orientation at http://services.housing.berkeley.edu/NSS/Content/gyb.html. The deadline to sign up is midnight on Friday, August 21.

Call CalSO at 510 642-4970 if you have questions about this program!
